# Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Release Date Revealed

The development of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been a long and winding road. Announced in 2019 as a sequel to the beloved first game, it has faced numerous hurdles, including a change in developers. But now, it seems there’s finally a firm release date.

Initially slated for release in 2020 and developed by Hardsuit Labs, the game was first pushed back to 2021, signaling the need for more development time. Later, publisher Paradox Interactive announced another delay, along with a change in the development team. The Chinese Room took over the project, initially aiming for a 2024 release. However, that date was also missed, and the launch was moved to the first half of 2025. Now, according to a recent announcement, the game is definitively aiming for a release this year.

The official release target is now October 2025. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is expected to launch on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

According to the game’s lead producer:

“Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room are committed to delivering this game, and we believe that ensuring excellent technical quality is more important than sticking to a specific date. The game is currently in the late stages of development, and community feedback has been considered during this time. Bloodlines 2 will be released in October 2025 when it meets the technical quality standards that you, our fans, rightly expect and deserve.”
