Take-Two Removes Alleged GTA 6 Map

GTA 6 Map Comes to GTA 5 – But Not For Long!

Leaked information and trailer glimpses of GTA 6 are fueling massive fan excitement. Capitalizing on this hype, a modder attempted to bring the rumored GTA 6 map to GTA 5, allowing players to explore it early.

However, this fan-made map was quickly shut down by Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. The modder, known as “Dark Space,” claimed the project was based entirely on community resources. Despite this, Take-Two pursued legal action, resulting in the removal of YouTube videos showcasing the map.

Too Realistic? Take-Two Shuts Down GTA 6 Fan Map

In a YouTube statement, Dark Space expressed surprise, despite anticipating Take-Two’s response. “I think the map was considered too realistic. I guess they perceived it as a threat because it could spoil the game’s surprise,” they said.

The project’s removal suggests concerns that the fan-made map might disrupt GTA 6’s marketing plans and diminish the impact of the official release.
