# Previous Updates and Ongoing Development

GSC Game World recently released Patch 1.3.0, a larger update containing over 1200 fixes and adjustments. This update included significant A-Life improvements, particularly focusing on mutant AI behavior. While frequent updates are bringing STALKER 2 closer to its final form, there’s still a long way to go. The total size of the updates has already exceeded 300 GB!

Considering the game initially requires 155 GB of storage space, players who consistently update STALKER 2 have essentially downloaded the game twice more in patches. While PC gamers are accustomed to updates, this has started to impact the game’s Steam reviews. Recent reviews are “Mixed” with 69% positive feedback, while the overall Steam rating remains “Very Positive” with an 82% positive average.
