PS Plus April 2025: Wall-E Leak, Blue Prince Confirmed, and Games Leaving
As March draws to a close, PS Plus subscribers are eagerly anticipating the free games coming in April 2025. A recent leak suggests that Disney’s beloved classic, Wall-E, may be added to PS Plus Premium. Meanwhile, Sony has officially confirmed that Blue Prince will be joining PS Plus Extra in April. This game is already being touted by some critics as a potential Game of the Year (GOTY) contender.
Wall-E Coming to PS Plus Premium?
The leaked information points to Wall-E as one of the PS Plus April 2025 games. This PS2 version of the Disney classic was previously spotted by Gematsu on rating boards. While expected to arrive in March, its absence has fueled speculation that it will be released in April. Furthermore, the game’s trophy list has also been leaked online.
The arrival of the PS2 version of Wall-E on PS Plus Premium is exciting news for fans, as it’s considered a superior experience to the PSP version. However, Sony has yet to make an official announcement.
Blue Prince Confirmed for PS Plus Extra
Sony has announced one of the free games coming to PS Plus Extra in April: Blue Prince. This intriguing puzzle-adventure game will be available to PS Plus Extra subscribers on April 10th. Receiving high praise from critics, the game takes place in a mysterious mansion filled with ever-changing corridors and rooms.
PC Gamer, based on a preview, has already considered Blue Prince a potential GOTY contender for 2024. Former Sony president Shuhei Yoshida even suggested the game could be a Game of the Year nominee in 2025. Additionally, Tape 2 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be added to the Extra and Premium library on April 15th. The first game in the series is currently available to play.
Games Leaving PS Plus in April
With April arriving, several games are also leaving the PS Plus library. On April 1st, games like Dragon Age Veilguard and Sonic Colors Ultimate will be removed from the Essential tier. On April 15th, popular titles such as Kena: Bridge of the Spirits and Slay the Spire will be leaving the Extra tier.
