Easy Crossplay Toggle in Call of Duty

Call of Duty: Console Players Gain More Control with Cross-Play Option

The latest season of Call of Duty empowers players with increased control! With the Season 3 update for Black Ops 6, console players can now disable cross-play in standard game modes. Previously limited to Ranked Play, this option is expanding to combat cheaters and provide a fairer gaming experience.

Cross-Play in Call of Duty and the New Update

Call of Duty has faced criticism for its ongoing battle against cheaters. To address this, Activision is including the option to turn off cross-play in the Season 3 update. This feature allows console players to block matchmaking with players from other platforms, restricting gameplay to those on their own console. This is a significant change, especially for the standard multiplayer modes in Black Ops 6.

The new season also includes improvements to the Ricochet anti-cheat system, the shutdown of cheat providers, and the removal of illegally obtained cosmetic items during matches. This comprehensive approach aims to create a safer environment for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone players.

Black Ops 6 Season 3 and Warzone Updates

Black Ops 6’s Season 3 launches on April 2nd and will feature a new battle pass, additional DLC weapons, operator skins, multiplayer maps, and a brand-new Shattered Veil Zombies map. Warzone will be updated on April 3rd, bringing back the classic Verdansk map. This map offers a nostalgic experience with its original Gulag design and 150-player matches.

This major Call of Duty update, with its cross-play option and other new content, aims to satisfy players. Gamers are eager to see how these new features will impact the game.
