Hell is Us: A Dark Fantasy Action-Adventure Coming with Potential Turkish Language Support
Developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon, Hell is Us is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game that’s generating buzz, especially with the promise of Turkish language support. However, Nacon’s reputation with Turkish localization hasn’t been stellar recently, so let’s dive into what the game is about first before discussing the localization concerns. This way, if you’re just hearing about Hell is Us, you’ll know what to expect.
What is Hell is Us?
Hell is Us blends modern settings with dark fantasy elements. The game explores the idea that human violence fuels a never-ending cycle of conflict. As the game’s store page suggests, “If hell is the closest thing to war, it is because the world harbors the worst of demons; humanity.”

The game takes place in an isolated country torn apart by internal strife. You’ll fight supernatural beings born from human-caused wars. While set in modern times, these creatures can’t be defeated with modern weapons. Instead, you’ll rely on melee weapons like swords, spears, and axes. Expect a mix of drones and swords in Hell is Us, as demonstrated in the gameplay trailers.
Hell is Us encourages player-led exploration. Forget maps, compasses, or waypoints. The developers describe this aspect as a “unique experience using innovative text and level design.”
Hell is Us Release Date
Nacon’s Hell is Us launches on September 4, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition grants early access starting on September 1, 2025.

Nacon’s Localization Track Record
While Hell is Us is listed with Turkish language support on its social media and store page, it’s wise to be cautious. Nacon’s reputation in Turkey took a hit earlier this year. Their game, War Hospital (released January 11, 2024), was advertised with Turkish language support on Steam until launch day. On release, the Turkish support was removed, and the game didn’t include the promised localization. This means Nacon marketed a feature that wasn’t present.
The Bottom Line: Proceed with Caution Regarding Turkish Language Support for Hell is Us
Intriguingly, War Hospital’s GOG page still lists Turkish language support. Despite attempts to contact Nacon about this discrepancy, no response was received.
Therefore, we recommend waiting until the game launches to confirm the presence of Turkish text. Fortunately, we only have roughly 5 months to wait and see.
