BlizzCon Returns in 2026 After Skipping 2025!
BlizzCon, Blizzard’s annual celebration of its games and community, especially beloved by World of Warcraft fans, will not be held this year. After being canceled last year, the date, location, and duration for a future event have been set for 2026. However, the highly anticipated event will also skip 2025. The event went digital in 2019 but returned in person for the last time in 2023. So, when will the next BlizzCon take place? Let’s take a look at the dates.
# BlizzCon Skipping 2025, But Announced for 2026!
Blizzard’s traditional event, BlizzCon, will skip 2025 and begin on September 12, 2026, concluding the following day. Players in Turkey and around the world can follow the event digitally. It will also be held physically at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, USA.
Starting for the first time in 2005, this traditional event series has been somewhat disrupted in recent years, but it appears it will continue. Naturally, there are no details yet about the new event, which is more than a year away.
Blizzard’s traditional BlizzCon event has previously been postponed in 2006, 2012, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024. The last event took place in Anaheim in 2023. Therefore, skipping 2025 isn’t a complete surprise.
The event will be held in September 2026, and of course, we’ll remind you as it approaches.
